Udupi Power Corporation Limited (UPCL) has set up an imported coal based 1200 MW (2 x 600 MW) Udupi Power Project (UPP) in Yelluru, Udupi District of Karnataka State, India and has floated a tender for purchase of 3 MnT Imported Coal for this.
The Scope of supply shall be valid for a period of 6 years on CIF/HSS Basis.
The total requirement of UPCL is around 3.00 MnT however Bidders can make offer for any quantity in multiple of 0.5 MnT i.e. 1.5 MnT or 2.0 MnT or 2.5 MnT or 3.0 MnT of coal.
Minimum quantity of 1.5 MnT should be from single source. However UPCL reserve right to award contract for a quantity lower than the quantity offered by the Bidder in a multiple of 0.5 MnT on the same terms and conditions.
