According to USA customs data, USA flat steel exports which includes (7208 HR coils/Plates,7209 CR coils, 7210, 7212 GP/GC and 7225 electrical sheets) registered the growth of 24%,Y-o-Y basis at 0.42 Mnt in Jul’17 in contrast to 0.34 MnT in Jul’16.
On monthly basis, nation’s flat steel exports decline by 16% Jul’17 against Jun’17. Last month USA flat steel exports stood at 0.5 MnT.
Although during Jan-Jul’17 nation’s flat steel exports surged by 24.3% to 3.27 MnT against 2.63 MnT in similar time-span of 2016.

Country-wise USA Flat Steel Exports in Jul’17-Canada was the major flat steel importer from USA and has occupied 46.83% of share in during the period of Jan-Jul’17.Other countries include Mexico with 46.6% of share and 0.97% of share from India.
