Stated owned NINL, Cuttack cuts its Pig Iron prices by Rs. 600/t and is trading at Rs. 24,700/MT which was Rs. 25,200-500/MT previously.
Pig Iron prices have shown an uptrend of around Rs. 500/MT
in some places. Prices have increased on account of rising prices of ingot.
“The demand for finished steel is less and the raw material
prices have increased resulting in price rise of Pig iron,” said a broker.
Raipur Steel Grade Pig Iron is trading at Rs. 28,000/MT with
a plus of Rs. 500/MT whereas Pig Iron prices for Raigarh is trading at Rs.
27,400/MT, at an high of Rs. 600/MT. Durgapur Pig Iron prices for Steel Grade is
hovering around Rs. 26,500/MT showing an increase of Rs. 600/MT.
