Odisha: Sharp decline in eastern India pellet offers and falling sponge prices pulled down Odisha iron ore prices. Odisha based merchant miners reduced lump prices upto INR 300/MT and fines prices up to INR 150/MT.

Chhattisgarh – National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) rolled over iron ore prices for May’17 deliveries.

Goa: 19th e-auction was held on 21 Apr’17. Base prices remained unchanged at INR 500/MT. Majority of the lots fetched flat bids and one lot received bid at INR 760/MT. In May’17 two e-auctions were conducted on 04 & 05 May’17. Bids remained flat at INR 500/MT.
Karnataka : NMDC kept iron ore prices unchanged for May’17 Karnataka e-auctions. Base prices of lump (Fe 63.3%) offered by NMDC Donimalai mines stood at INR 2,703/MT and fines (Fe 60.2%) at INR 2,246/MT.
Private miners base prices are as follows: lump (Fe 64%) offered by P Balasubba Setty & Sons is at INR 2,600/MT. Fines (Fe 63%) offered by P Balasubba Setty & Sons is at base price of INR 2,500/MT. (Prices mentioned are basic).
