Imitating the last week’s price increase, Indian structure market registered a price hike citing demand in raw material and less production of structure amid lack of labor in summer season.
Light and heavy structure prices this week ascended by INR 400-1,250/MT for all grade. Major price hike of INR 1,250/MT is witnessed in Durgapur. At the same time South market also reported price hike of INR 1,000/MT.
Following ingot 3.5×4.5 inch and 125×125 mm billet offers have increased by INR 1,000/MT W-o-W.
Heavy structure offers surged by INR 500/MT; trade discount heard at INR 300-500/MT, and light structure 40×5 mm prices uptick by INR 100/MT in a week time.
Currently, 100×100 mm angle prices are assessed in Durgapur at INR 34,500/MT, Ahmedabad at INR 33,000/MT, Raipur at INR 32,000/MT and in Hyderabad at INR 34,000/MT.
Heavy channel, 200×75 mm offers are evaluated at INR 33,500/MT, Ghaziabad at INR 36,200/MT, Ahmedabad at INR 33,200/MT, Mumbai at INR 35,000/MT and in Raipur at INR 32,000/MT.
Beam, 200×100 mm is being offered in Durgapur at INR 33,500/MT, Ghaziabad at INR 35,200/MT, Ahmedabad at INR 33,000/MT, Mumbai at INR 35,500/MT and in Raipur at INR 31,500/MT.
