“Flat Steel prices are expected to rise between Rs. 1,000-1,500/MT in the beginning of the next month,” said market sources.
Experts are of the view that the increase in the price of flat products will take place on account of the hike in prices of raw materials and excise duty.
IS 2062 Grade Structural HRC (size 2.5mm) of ESSAR Steel Mumbai is offered at Rs.38,100/MT (Ex-works) whereas Ludhiana and Kolkata quote Rs.38,400/MT (Basic price) for the same size.
5-10mm HR plate of Raigarh is traded at Rs.41,500/MT (Basic price) whereas trading price of ESSAR Steel Mumbai are hovering around Rs.38,070/MT (Ex-works) for the same size.
0.9-1.6mm CR Coil of ESSAR Steel Mumbai is offered at Rs.42600/MT (Basic prices) and that of Bellary is trading at Rs.41,500/MT (Ex-works) for the same size.
