Dalmia Cement plans to increase outbound rail dispatches from its Chunar plant to around 26,000 tonnes (t) per month from September 2026, up from 15,000 t planned for August, according to the company’s agreement with North Central Railway. The company also plans to move around 15 rakes of clinker and 1-2 rakes of gypsum each month. The Chunar plant resumed operations in June 2026 following its acquisition.
