Indian Billet: Market might show direction next week

Billet price have either remain unchanged or have corrected in the range of Rs 200-500/MT today. 

“Sellers are not willing to reduce offers. Buyers on the other hand are cautious regarding new purchases due to fluctuating prices”, sources reported SteelMint.

In Raipur, Raigarh, Hyderabad, Jalna, Goa and Jaipur, manufacturers kept offers at same levels. Whereas, Billet price show a  downtrend in some of the mandis', such as Rourkela, Durgapur, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Kandla and Bhavnagar.  

Demand in South has opened up and is expected to improve further. Supply of the material is limited and offers rose by Rs 500/MT in Tamil Nadu.
