Rourkela Steel Plant, a unit of Steel Authority of India (SAIL), invited a tender for appointment of a conversion agent from bonafide, resourceful firm/company for conversion of 30,000 MT steel slabs per month into HR Coils for a period of one year at locations having such facilities in India.
The tender will be kept valid for 90 days from the date of techno-commercial opening.
Eligibility criteria
1. Bidder should have a valid Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) license for manufacture of HR coils.
2. Bidder should be registered with sales tax and excise authorities as manufacturers.
3. The average annual turnover for immediate preceding 3 complete years ending on or before 31 Dec’16 should be minimum INR 40 crore.
4. Mill should have production capacity of at least 30,000 MT per month of HR coils of different sizes / grade mix.
