India: Siyaram Recycling secures brass honey scrap orders worth over INR 30 million

  • Order wins come amid cautious market with wide bid-offer gaps
  • Sizeable bookings suggest underlying consumption remains resilient

Siyaram Recycling Industries Ltd has strengthened its domestic order pipeline by securing contracts worth a combined INR 32.8 million for the supply of brass honey scrap. The orders comprise an INR 23 million contract from Saanvi Metal Craft and an INR 9.8 million order from Micronova Industries, highlighting steady procurement by India’s secondary brass manufacturers.

The order wins come amid a cautious brass honey scrap market, where a persistent bid-offer gap has limited spot transactions and buyers have largely restricted purchases to immediate production requirements.

Despite weak export demand and compressed margins, these sizeable domestic bookings suggest that underlying consumption remains resilient, with manufacturers continuing to secure feedstock through contract purchases, providing support to the overall brass honey scrap market.
