Baltic Dry Index continues to rise for 6th straight day on improving activity

The Baltic Dry Index increased for the 6th consecutive day, by 1.9% (40 points) d-o-d to 2,201 on 10 Apr’26, supported by improved chartering activity across Capesize and Panamax segments, along with steady cargo flow.

• Capesize: BCI rose 2.6% (83 points) to 3,318.
• Panamax: BPI increased 0.7 % (13 points) to 1,855.
• Supramax: BSI increased 1.2% (15 points) to 1,308.
