Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), Vizag, auctioned 840 t of crude coal tar on 13 Mar’26, with the entire volume sold at an average price of INR 48,400/t. This marks a sharp increase of about INR 11,400-12,400/t compared with the 13 Feb auction, where a similar quantity was sold at a weighted average of INR 36,000-37,000/t, driven by tight domestic availability.
