US: Nucor increases HRC prices by $15/t w-o-w

Nucor, a major US electric arc furnace steel producer, increased its HRC prices by $15/t w-o-w to $1,005/t against $990/t last week. This is the consecutive seventh week in a row that prices have been raised. US steelmakers, including Nucor, have raised prices as a severe cold wave has driven up the cost of scrap steel.
