Medium-carbon silico manganese (Mn 53%, Si 20%, C max 0.5%) prices climbed up by INR 600/t ($7/t) w-o-w to INR 86,100/t ($939/t) exw-Durgapur on 5 Mar’26. Improved buying interest from steel mills, alongside increased high-grade manganese ore prices, pushed prices up. Offers were reported in between INR 85,500-86,800/t, with a 250 t deal at INR 86,400/t ($943/t).
