Around 160,000-t iron ore were booked in Karnataka-based auctions.

• NMDC Kumaraswamy (25 Feb): 76,000-t fines (Fe 57.12-57.67%) sold at INR 2,248-2,352/t; 42,000-t CLO (10-40 mm, Fe 61.54%) at INR 3,832/t.
• SMIORE (24 Feb): 29,000-t lumps (10-20/10-40 mm, Fe 56.1-58.5%) at INR 3,925-4,937/t; 8,000-t fines (Fe 61.3%) at INR 4,108/t.
• KSMCL (24 Feb): 4,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 56.13%) sold at INR 3,319/t (base price).
