Nepal’s rebar prices declined by NPR 3,000/t w-o-w to NPR 75,500-77,500/t ($520-534 )for cash guarantee deals and NPR 77,500-79,500/t ($534-547) for bank guarantee sales. Buying interest remained subdued amid a slow market, upcoming elections, and the absence of major development projects. Meanwhile, IF–EAF wire rod prices fell by $5/t to around $525/t CNF Raxaul.
