- Port Hedland’s iron ore shipments rose by 6.7% m-o-m to 50.90 mnt in Dec’25 against 47.72 mnt in Nov’25, as per the Pilbara Port Authority.
- Meanwhile, Port Dampier’s iron ore shipments increased by 24.12% m-o-m to 14.97 mnt in Dec’25 from 12.06 mnt in Nov.
- Shipments were driven by improved mine output, catch-up exports after earlier disruptions, smoother port operations, and firmer demand from key Asian buyers, particularly China.
