India: Ferro vanadium prices continue to rise as supply remains tight

Indian ferro vanadium (FeV 50%) prices rose INR 15,350/t ($86/t) w-o-w to INR 1,168,750/t ($12,961/t) ex-Raipur on 14 Jan’26. Prices strengthened as vanadium availability tightened due to global production curbs and stricter environmental controls, raising raw material costs for alloy producers. Limited spot supplies coincided with steady procurement from domestic special steel producers, lending upward momentum to Indian prices.
