LME base metals prices move higher d-o-d

Base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) strengthened in the latest session as of 13 January 2026, with broad-based gains across the complex. Aluminium rose 1.55% to $3,185/t, while nickel advanced 1.05% to $17,888/t. Copper gained 1.63% to $13,210/t, supported by firm market sentiment. Zinc recorded the strongest uptick, climbing 1.98% to $3,216/t, whereas lead edged up marginally by 0.17% to $2,053/t.
