India: Over 400,000 t of iron ore booked at Karnataka auctions

Karnataka saw 415,000-t iron ore booked on 10 Jan’26.

NMDC Kumaraswamy: 224,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 61.35-61.96%) at INR 3,255-4,723/t (base INR 3,245-3,733/t) and 152,000-t fines (-10mm, Fe 59.11-61.77%) at INR 2,624-3,669/t (base INR 2,548-2,999/t).
SMIORE: 23,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 55.6-56.9%) at INR 3,817-4,355/t (base prices INR 3,817-4,294/t).
SKMEPL: 16,000-t lumps (5-40 mm, Fe 59-59.3%) at INR 5,000-5,019/t.

All prices are inclusive of royalty, DMF, and NMEDT, except for NMDC’s.
