Imported scrap offers from European and CIS countries kept stable after some buying interest noticed from Turkish steel mills.
“Generally re-bar sales from middle east countries pick up before Ramdan, we expect scrap prices to remain stable for next few weeks.” said a local trader based in Istambul, Turkey.
Currently offers from Europe and Russia and Ukraine hovers around $ 370/t CFR Turkey, he further added.
