China’s coal and coke production witness mixed trends in Nov’25

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, China’s production of industrial raw coal above designated size stood at 426.79 mnt in Nov’25, down by 0.5% y-o-y, whereas daily average output was 14.23 mnt. Cumulatively Jan-Nov’25 coal output stood at 4.4 billion tonnes, up 1.4% y-o-y. China’s coke production hit 41.7 mnt in Nov, up 2.3% y-o-y, totalling 460.95 mnt in Jan-Nov, also up 3.2% y-o-y.
