Nepal’s rebar prices edged down by NPR 200/t ($1/t) w-o-w to NPR 71,500-73,500/t ($503-517/t) for cash guarantee sales and NPR 73,500-75,500/t ($517-532/t) for bank guarantee transactions. The drop was primarily driven by subdued demand in the market. Meanwhile, wire rod (IF-EAF) offers rose by $7/t to around $468/t CNF Raxaul.
