China: Iron ore spot prices dip d-o-d amid slow buying interest

Iron ore fines (Fe 62%) prices edged down by $0.2/dmt d-o-d to $104.7/dmt CFR China on 6 Nov’25. Prices were range-bound amid slow buying interest, as steel mills held off on purchases. As per reports, most mills had already completed their buying earlier, and only a handful bought more stocks. With port inventories high and mill demand soft, lump premiums are expected to ease further.
