China: Iron ore spot prices edge down d-o-d
Iron ore fines (Fe 62%) spot prices fell by $0.45/t to $107.8/dmt CFR China on 23 Dec’25. Portside iron ore prices remained narrowly range-bound amid moderately healthy market liquidity, reflecting steady near-term sentiment. Buyers continued to favour Brazilian cargoes among available mid-grade fines. Meanwhile, the destocking of lump inventories continued, as the lump-fines spread narrowed further.
