India: Major ERW pipe producer releases list prices for early-Nov’25 sales

  • Trade prices drop by INR 600/t m-o-m in Oct
  • Soft demand, festivities weigh on HRC prices

A major Indian ERW pipe manufacturer, specialising in hot-rolled coil (HRC) based products, has released list prices of its base-grade pipes (25-125 NB, 2.2-6 mm) for early-November 2025 sales, sources informed BigMint.

Post-revision, list prices stood at INR 56,500/t ($637/t) exy-Raipur, INR 58,500/t ($660/t) exy-Pune, and INR 59,500/t ($671/t) exy-Delhi, excluding 18% GST. These revised prices are effective from 1 November 2025.

Meanwhile, distributor-level monthly average prices of ERW pipes in Raipur decreased by INR 600/t ($7/t) m-o-m to INR 53,000/t ($598/t) exy in October 2025 as compared to INR 53,600/t ($605/t) in September 2025. Demand was soft amid festivities, a financial crunch, and cyclone-driven disruptions in some regions.

Trade-level HRC offers fall m-o-m

On an m-o-m basis, trade-level prices of HRCs fell by INR 1,200/t ($9/t) to INR 47,900/t ($553/t) in October 2025 against INR 49,100/t ($562/t) a month ago. Similarly, CRC prices fell by INR 850/t ($6/t) to INR 55,400/t ($635/t) in October 2025 against INR 56,250/t ($641/t) in September 2025. Overall, the month remained relatively quiet, with soft demand and festive-season slowdowns weighing on market sentiment.

Outlook

ERW pipe prices are expected to stay range-bound in the near term due to subdued demand and mixed market sentiment. Additionally, upcoming monthly mill price announcements will provide clearer direction for future pricing trends.
