Ship-breaking melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang decreased by INR 200/t d-o-d on 3 Nov’25. According to BigMint’s assessment, HMS (80:20) stood at INR 30,300/t ($341/t) ex-yard. Semi-finished steel prices in the region held steady during the last trading session, despite buying activity remaining below moderate. Meanwhile, muted trade activity in the scrap segment led suppliers to reduce their offers today.
