Ship-breaking melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang market decreased by INR 100/t d-o-d on 28 Oct’25. According to BigMint’s assessment, HMS (80:20) stood at INR 29,900/t ($339/t) ex-yard. According to sources, although semi-finished and finished prices firmed in the region during yesterday’s session, overall trade activity remained moderate. Additionally, average trade activity in scrap prompted suppliers to reduce their offers today.
