SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant conducted a crude coal tar auction for 2,506 t on 18 Oct’25, where no bids were received. According to the market participants, buyers are looking to push down the inflated prices, as the price surge has been squeezing their margins, also in the previous auction on 8 Oct’25, 751 t were booked out of offered quantity of 1,985 t.
