Odisha miners likely to keep iron ore lump prices unchanged for next month on low production due to monsoons, reported a marketing manager at big mining company based in Barbil,Odisha.
“Demand has been decent for iron ore lumps, also our production has come down due to rainy season. We see prices stabilize at current levels till monsoons.” said a marketing executive at one of the mines in Odisha.
Though demand for iron fines has reduced on lower exports from India, there are few inquiries from JSW steels and Essar steel, he further added.
