India: SAIL-SSP books 4,300 t of ferro chrome at reverse auction

SAIL-Salem Steel Plant (SSP) had issued a purchase tender for 4,300 t of high-carbon (HC) ferro chrome (Cr: 57-63%, C: 5-8%, 10-70 mm). At the reverse auction concluded yesterday, the entire material was booked at around INR 134,700/t FOR, excluding GST. BigMint assessed ferro chrome (HC60%, 10-150 mm) prices at INR 120,400/t exw-Jajpur on 10 Oct’25.
