India: Karnataka iron ore auctions fetch decent response, over 50,000 t booked

• NMDC Donimalai: 28,000 t iron ore lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 53-54%) was booked at INR 2,748/t (upto premium of INR 10/t) and 20,000 t fines (Fe 56%) at base price of INR 2,989/t.
• Vedanta: 4,000 t siliceous iron ore fines (Fe 42.5%) booked at base price of INR 450/t.

Prices are inclusive of royalty, DMF, and NMEDT for NMDC whereas Vedanta’s prices exclude all these.
