Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), also known as Vizag Steel is a navratna PSE under the ministry of steel has invited a global tender for empanelment of suppliers for the purchase of Ferro Silicon at Visakhapatnam, India.
The tentative requirement of the company is 7,500 MT (800 MT per month) material till 30 Jun’17 through multiple cycles. The successful bidder have to supply the required material within one month from the date of purchase order issued.

Carbon: 0.15% max
Phosphorous: 0.05% max
Sulphur: 0.05% max
The last date for receipt of sealed tender (without price bid) for participating in 1st cycle procurement of year 2016-17 is 26 Sep’16 by 10:30 hrs (IST). Although the tender notice will remain valid till 31 Mar’17. Any bidder who has not submitted the offer before the last date, may submit their techno-commercial bid and EMD any time but before 31 Mar’17. Such offers may be considered for participating in subsequent cycles of procurement.
