MMTC’s tender for export of 35,000 MT chrome concentrate has been awarded to Tata Steel Asia Limited.
Metal & Mineral Trading Corporation (MMTC), a state owned trading house, is one of the major global players in the minerals trade and single largest exporter of minerals from India.
The company had invited interested overseas buyers for purchase of 35,000 MT chrome concentrate (50/48% Cr) and 10,000 MT low silica chrome concentrate (32/30% Cr) of Indian origin through its export tender, for August shipment. However, the company later decided to withdraw the 10,000 MT of low silica chrome concentrate.
MMTC 35,000 MT chrome concentrate export tender which expired on 01 Aug’16 was awarded at USD 210/MT FOB Paradip to Tata Steel Asia Ltd.
Another 9,000 MT Chrome Concentrate Export Tender In The Pipeline
MMTC has invited interested overseas buyers for the purchase of 9,000 MT Low Silica Chrome concentrate (56/54% Cr) of Indian origin through its export tender for October shipment.
The material has been offered by Tata Steel FOB Paradip Port basis.
The last date for submission of the tender is 20 Sept’16.
