Vietnam Imposes Anti-dumping Duty on Imported Galvanized Steel

To safeguard domestic steelmakers from inbound steel shipments arriving from China and South Korea to the country, Vietnam has imposed a high anti-dumping tariff of upto 38% on imported galvanized steel, according to the Vietnam Competition Agency’s website.

The anti-dumping rates range from 4.02-38.34% for Chinese steel companies and 12.4-19% for South Korean enterprises.
