Kyrgyzstan imposes 6-month ban on ferrous scrap exports

The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has imposed a 6-month ban on exporting ferrous scrap, waste metals, and ingots for remelting (EAEU code 7204).
The ban takes effect three days after the resolution comes into force, ten days after publication.
This follows previous export bans in the country, aimed at securing domestic supply, which were in effect till Sep’25.
