Nepal’s rebar prices fell by NPR 1,200/t ($8/t) w-o-w to NPR 72,500-74,500/t ($513-527/t) for cash guarantee sales and NPR 74,500-76,500/t ($527-541/t) for bank guarantee ones. The decline was driven by weak demand during the monsoon and the festive season, coupled with subdued trade momentum in the off-season. Wire rod (IF-EAF) offers, however, remained unchanged at $482/t CNF Raxaul.
