Iran: Steel billet, rebar prices hold steady; rising utility costs weigh on production

Production remained constrained by power and water shortages, with gas scarcity expected later this year.
Rising utility costs, including a reported 40-fold increase in water prices, alongside electricity hikes and currency fluctuations, kept domestic steel prices under upward pressure despite weak demand.
