Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan increased by RMB 10/t ($1/t) to RMB 3,100/t ( $432/t) from the previous day’s RMB 3,090/t ($430/t, including VAT), while SHFE Oct25 rebar futures edged down by RMB 3/t ($0/t) to RMB 3,231/t ($450/t).
Steel prices in China stay firm on strong exports and coke support, despite weak demand and rising stocks.
