Prices in Kandla inched up by INR 50/t to INR 7,050/t DAP, and approximately 7,500 t were booked at INR 6,950-7,100/t DAP. Raipur prices held firm at INR 6,200/t exw, and 3,560 t traded at INR 6,000-6,450/t exw.
BigMint’s Odisha iron ore fines (Fe 62%) index rose by INR 150/t ($2/t) w-o-w to INR 5,350/tonne (t) ($62/t) ex-mines. Approximately 250,000 t of iron ore were traded in the Odisha region this week.
