Sandur Manganese and Iron Ores (SMIORE) has scheduled an auction for 60,000 t of iron ore from its mines in Sandur, Karnataka, on 28 Jul’25. The total quantity includes 17,000 t (5-20 mm, Fe 53.5-61.2%), 4,000 t (20-40 mm, Fe 56.8%), and 7,000 t (10-40 mm, Fe 55.5-56.1%) of lumps and 32,000 t of fines (Fe 52-59.1%). Floor prices are yet to be declared and will be inclusive of royalty, DMF, and NMET charges.
