Ship-breaking melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang market decreased by INR 200/t d-o-d on 21 Jul’25. According to BigMint’s assessment, HMS (80:20) prices are INR 31,600/t ($366/t) ex-yard. Semi-finished steel prices in the region declined by INR 100-200/t in the previous trading session. Meanwhile, average trade activity in scrap has prompted suppliers to reduce their offers today.
