India: SECL to auction over 1 mnt non-coking coal on 17 Jul’25

SECL will offer around 10,07,000 t of non-coking coal in an auction scheduled for 17 Jul’25. The lot will include grades G5 to G12 and G15. Domestic coal prices stayed stable w-o-w, with BigMint’s assessment showing 5000 GCV and 4500 GCV grades at INR4,700/t and INR4,250/t exw-Bilaspur. Market activity remained subdued, marked by scattered offers and limited fresh buying interest.
