China: Iron ore spot prices edge down d-o-d

Iron ore fines (Fe 62%) spot prices edged down by $0.2/t d-o-d to $92.75/t CFR China on 25 Jun’25. The marginal drop was primarily due to weak fundamentals and limited trading activity for high-grade fines, with mills continuing need-based procurement. Buying interest remained concentrated on mid-grade fines, while ample spot availability resulted in a flatter physical market structure.
