The drop in billet prices came as market sentiment weakened, weighed down by uncertainity in raw material costs and falling rebar futures.
SHFE rebar futures (Oct’25) decreased by RMB 19/t ($3/t) d-o-d to RMB 2,959/t ($412/t) on 5 Jun’25.
