Godawari Power & Ispat Limited (GPIL) resumed mining at its Boria Tibu Iron Ore Mines in Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh on 27 May 2025, after receiving a five-year plan approval from the Indian Bureau of Mines till 31 Mar’30. Operations had been temporarily suspended since 1 Apr due to the expiry of the previous approval. GPIL’s iron ore production rose to 2.34 mnt in FY’25 from 2.31 mnt in FY’24.
