India: Base prices stay largely stable for OMC’s upcoming chrome ore auction

Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) will auction 93,100-t chrome ore on 19 May’25, a decrease of 11,500 t m-o-m. Base prices of most grades remained unchanged from the previous auction, except for COBP, JK Road, material, which saw a 3% increase (INR 466-533/t). The stable base prices could be attributed to a steady ferro chrome market.
