Billet prices did not fluctuate on low trading volumes in Indian market.
A trader in Chhattisgarh says, “We have not sold Billet in good quantities from tuesday itself. Buyers are not making any inquiries for the material”.
“Sellers at Bilaspur are ready to make sales at a discount of Rs 200/MT as buying does not picks up. 200 tons of Billet was sold in Raipur local market today”, he added.
Some buying was seen in Mandi Gobindgarh of around 500 tons and manufacturers raised prices by Rs 200/MT.
