Iran: Steel billet, rebar prices decline amid prevailing market uncertainty

Iran’s domestic billet prices softened further this week amid a weakening exchange rate and sluggish demand. Rebar prices also trended down, reflecting diminished buyer confidence at a time of uncertainty in Iran-US negotiations.

• Billet prices stood at 302,500 Rial/kg on 23 Apr’25, down 3,500 Rial/kg from 21 Apr.
• Rebar prices edged down to 360,000 Rial/kg on 23 Apr, a decrease of 11,000 Rial/kg as against 21 Apr.
