Domestic zinc prices dropped by INR 2,000/t w-o-w to INR 258,000/t, while lead remelted ingots fell by INR 3,000/t to INR 178,000/t ex-Delhi. Imported zinc diecast (5%) from the Middle East was priced at $2,140/t CFR Mundra, with some deals heard at $2,100/t. Meanwhile, China resumed zinc concentrate imports from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, following the Kipushi mine’s restart under Ivanhoe Mines.
